Reducing Energy Consumption by Optimizing Thermal Losses and Measures of Energy Recovery in Preschools
Milan Tanic,Danica Stankovic,Vojislav Nikolic,Marko Nikolic,Dragan Kostić,Aleksandar Milojkovic,Sanja Spasic,Nikolai Vatin +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented a theoretical basis, simulation and computations - calculations of heating energy needs for established models, by using appropriate software packages, for the problem of energy saving by optimizing heat loss and measures for energy recovery in the existing preschools.

Influence of Single and Double Membrane Roofs on Thermal Behaviour of Enclosed Space
TL;DR: In this article, a study of the measurement and comparison of temperatures of single and double membrane structures in the summer period is presented, where the air temperatures were measured in all the separate air compartments and particular surfaces of each membrane.
Tensile structures as the most advanced lightweight structures
TL;DR: An overview of the most significant objects constructed using the tensile structure system is offered, including the Olympic stadium in Munich as an example of cable net subsystem, and the roof of the central court in Wimbledon and the stadium in Durban as representatives of the membrane subsystem.
Reduction of CO2 emission as a benefit of energy efficiency improvement: Kindergartens in the City of Niš - case study
Miomir Vasov,Veliborka Bogdanovic,Milos S. Nedeljkovic,Danica Stankovic,Dragan Kostić,Ivana Bogdanovic-Protic +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a correlation between the improvement of thermal performance of structural elements of buildings in order to enhance their energy efficiency, which is also economically justified, and reduction of GHG emission whose economic benefits are not so easy to assess even though it represents an environmental problem.
Determination of prestressing levels for cable trusses as a function of their stability
Ljubomir Vlajic,Dragan Kostić,Mirko Aćić +2 more
- 10 Jan 2014
TL;DR: In this article, the stability of prestressed cable trusses subjected to static and dynamic loads is analyzed in terms of the tensile force required for satisfying dynamic resistance conditions. But the results of the analysis are limited to the case of cable grids with diagonal members.
