Did the Kohistan-Ladakh island arc collide first with India?
Shuhab D. Khan,Douglas Walker,Stuart A. Hall,Kevin Burke,Mohammad Tahir Shah,Lisa D. Stockli +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that calc-alkaline volcanic arc igneous activity ended in the Kohistan-Ladakh arc by 61 Ma and that the collision of Kohistan with India could not have been far from the equator.

Zircon U-Pb geochronology of the Ottawan Orogeny, Adirondack Highlands, New York: regional and tectonic implications
James M. McLelland,Michael A. Hamilton,Bruce Selleck,Jonathan McLelland,Douglas Walker,Suzanne Orrell +5 more
TL;DR: Both single and multigrain U-Pb zircon thermal ionization mass spectrometry (TIMS) as well as sensitive high resolution ion microprobe (SHRIMP ll) dating of two suites of Adirondack granites have yielded ages constraining the principal tectonomagmatic events of the Ottawan Orogeny to the interval ca 1090-1035 Ma as mentioned in this paper.

Calibration of bulk carbonate strontium isotopes to ammonite zones: Implication for global stratigraphic correlation of Callovian–Kimmeridgian strata in Central Saudi Arabia
TL;DR: In this paper, a strontium isotopic ratio (87Sr/86Sr) dataset from bulk rock carbonate samples of Middle-Upper Jurassic strata in central Saudi Arabia (upper part of the Tuwaiq Mountain Formation and entire Hanifa Formation) was used to determine ages to improve correlation to equivalent European ammonite zones to better link paleogeographic, paleoceanographic, and ecological events across the Tethys Ocean.
