Exploring factors influencing HbA1c and psychosocial outcomes in people with type 1 diabetes after training in advanced carbohydrate counting.
TL;DR: Improvements in HbA1c after training in ACC were inversely related to numeracy, and use of an ABC did not compensate for poor numeracy skills, however, device use reduced fear of hypoglycemia compared with ACC without ABC use.

Hyperoxia improves autonomic function in individuals with long-duration type 1 diabetes and macroalbuminuria.
Jens Laursen,Jens Laursen,Christian Stevns Hansen,Marco Bordino,Dorte Vistisen,Emilie H. Zobel,Signe Abitz Winther,Per-Henrik Groop,Marie Frimodt-Møller,Luciano Bernardi,Peter Rossing,Peter Rossing +11 more
TL;DR: Acute oxygen inhalation and slow deep breathing improve measures of autonomic function transiently in individuals with short‐duration type 1 diabetes and interactions with the presence of macroalbuminuria or existing cardiovascular autonomic neuropathy are explored.

TL;DR: The identified subgroups in which different activity dimensions were associated with IGM may suggest a preliminary step toward the goal of tailoring and targeting PA interventions aimed at Type 2 diabetes prevention.
