Upconversion luminescence from terbium and ytterbium codoped LiYF4 single crystals
Fu Li,Haiping Xia,Dong Yanming,Li Shanshan,Xuemei Gu,Jianli Zhang,Dong-jie Wang,Haochuan Jiang,Baojiu Chen +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the pump power dependent upconversion (UC) luminescence and its pump power dependence on UC emissions were investigated under excitation of near infrared light at 960 nm for the Tb3+/Yb3+) codoped LiYF4 single crystals.

White Light Emission From Tb 3+ /Sm 3+ Codoped LiYF 4 Single Crystal Excited by UV Light
TL;DR: LiYF4 single crystals codoped with Tb3+/Sm3+ ions were synthesized by the vertical Bridgman method as discussed by the authors, and when excited by 374-nm ultraviolet light, the crystals emit violet-blue, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red light.

Growth and spectral properties of Er3+/Tm3+ co‐doped LiYF4 single crystal
Wang Peiyuan,Haiping Xia,Peng Jiangtao,Haoyang Hu,Lei Tang,Dong Yanming,Fu Li,Haochuan Jiang,Baojiu Chen +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of Tm3+ on the spectroscopic properties upon excitation of an 800 nm laser diode has been investigated by growing LiYF4 single crystals by a Bridgman method.

Thulium-doped sodium yttrium fluoride laser crystal and preparation method thereof
Xia Haiping,Li Shanshan,Fu Li,Dong Yanming,Lei Tang,Wang Peiyuan,Peng Jiangtao,Zhang Yuepin +7 more
- 07 May 2014
TL;DR: In this paper, a thulium-doped sodium yttrium fluoride laser crystal and a preparation method thereof were presented, where rare earth ions were doped into a NaYF4 crystal to generate a monocrystal of which the chemical formula is NaY(1-alpha)TmalphaF4.
