Light-trapping properties of the Si inclined nanowire arrays
TL;DR: In this paper, the light trapping performance of Si nanowires with different inclination angles was systematically studied by COMSOL multiphysics and it was shown that the inclined nanowire with inclination angles smaller than 60° showed greater light trapping ability than their counterparts of the vertical nano-connections.

Vertical GeSn nanowire MOSFETs for CMOS beyond silicon
Mingshan Liu,Yannik Junk,Yi Han,Dong Yang,Jin Hee Bae,Marvin Frauenrath,Jean-Michel Hartmann,Zoran Ikonic,Florian Bärwolf,Andrea Mari,Detlev Grützmacher,Joachim Knoch,Dan Buca,Qing-Tai Zhao +13 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors present high performance, vertical nanowire gate-all-around FETs based on the GeSn-material system grown on Si, which enables high mobility channel materials for improved device performance at low power levels.
Broadband enhancement of dielectric light trapping nanostructure used in ultra-thin solar cells
TL;DR: In this article, a dielectric fishnet nanostructure is designed to increase the light trapping capability of ultra-thin solar cells, which can enhance the electromagnetic resonance in active layer then lead to extraordinary enhancement of both absorption and light-conversion capabilities in the solar cell.

Enhanced electro-optical properties of TiO2 Nanocone Arrays for ultrathin GaAs Solar cells
TL;DR: In this paper, an antireflective coating made by TiO2 nanocone array is designed on an ultrathin multilayer GaAs substrate (the thickness of GaAs is 300nm).
