TL;DR: In this article , the Energy Exascale Earth System land model (ELM) is used to simulate the terrestrial carbon cycle and its feedbacks to climate critically depend on algorithms representing the decomposition of litter and soil organic matter.

- 17 Jun 2022
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors provide a global scale evaluation of ELMv1-CNP using International Land Model Benchmarking (ILAMB) system and show that it produces realistic estimates of present-day carbon pools and fluxes.
