Impact of IDH1 and IDH2 mutation detection at diagnosis and in remission in patients with AML receiving allogeneic transplantation
Marius Bill,Madlen Jentzsch,L. Bischof,Jessica Kohlschmidt,Juliane Grimm,Laura K. Schmalbrock,Donata Backhaus,Dominic Brauer,Karoline Goldmann,Georg-Nikolaus Franke,Vladan Vucinic,Dietger Niederwieser,Alice S. Mims,Uwe Platzbecker,A-K Eisfeld,Sebastian Schwind +15 more
TL;DR: The diagnostic presence of IDH mutations in AML did not have a significant prognostic impact when consolidated with HSCT, however, IDH1 R132 and IDH2 R172 MRD positivity in remission at HSCT associated with an increased risk of relapse, while IDH 2 R140 mutations did not.

Pharmaceuticals in the environment: an educational perspective
Marco Eissen,Donata Backhaus +1 more
TL;DR: Tasks that were presented to students regarding the topic ‘pharmaceuticals in the environment’ contributed to a better understanding of the possible risks of medical care on an introductory level.

A high hematopoietic cell transplantation comorbidity Index (HCT-CI) does not impair outcomes after non-myeloablative allogeneic stem cell transplantation in acute myeloid leukemia patients 60 years or older
Donata Backhaus,Dominic Brauer,Rosmarie Pointner,L. Bischof,Vladan Vucinic,Georg-Nikolaus Franke,Dietger Niederwieser,Uwe Platzbecker,Madlen Jentzsch,Sebastian Schwind +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors analyzed 289 acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients undergoing NMA-HSCT (2 or 3 Gray total body irradiation and 3 days of fludarabine 30 mg/m 2 ).

Prognostic Impact of the 2022 European Leukemia Net Risk Classification in Patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia Undergoing Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation
Madlen Jentzsch,L. Bischof,J. Ussmann,Donata Backhaus,Dominic Brauer,Klaus H. Metzeler,Marco Herling,Maximilian Merz,Vladan Vucinic,Georg-Nikolaus Franke,Uwe Platzbecker,Sebastian Schwind +11 more
TL;DR: Jentzsch et al. as mentioned in this paper presented an analysis of 522 acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients who received an allogeneic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) between 2000 and 2021 in first complete remission (CR, 54), second CR (11%), CR with incomplete count recovery (CRi, 13%), or relapsed/refractory (22%) at their center.

Clinical Implications of the FLT3-ITD Allelic Ratio in Acute Myeloid Leukemia in the Context of an Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation
Madlen Jentzsch,L. Bischof,Dominic Brauer,Donata Backhaus,J. Ussmann,Georg-Nikolaus Franke,Vladan Vucinic,Uwe Platzbecker,Sebastian Schwind +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , the presence of FLT3-ITD is among the most common molecular aberrations in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), but little is known about how the FLT 3-ITd allelic ratio impacts patient outcomes after HSCT.
