TL;DR: A 2‐year‐old girl with extensive cutaneous xanthogranuloma and recurrent subdural effusions has been investigated and differentiated from histiocytosis X depended upon light and electron microscopical studies of the cutaneous infiltrate and cells obtained from the cerebrospinal fluid.

TL;DR: Epidermal mononuclear cell infiltrate from three patients with pagetoid reticulosis was examined for the presence of the cytoplasmic markers lysozyme, alpha 1-antitrypsin and alpha1-antichymotrypsins, indicating that they belonged to the monocyte-macrophage-histiocyte series.
