Solution of the Percus-Yevick equation for hard hyperspheres in even dimensions
TL;DR: Rohrmann et al. as mentioned in this paper showed that the virial coefficients for a fluid of hyper-spheres in dimensions of 4, 6, and 8 can be obtained numerically.

- 01 Jan 2006
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigate the dynamic fracture of a close-packed monolayer of particles, or particle raft, floating at a liquid-gas interface induced by the localized addition of surfactant.

Solution of the Percus-Yevick equation for hard disks.
TL;DR: In this article, the Percus-Yevick equation in two dimensions was solved by reducing it to a set of simple integral equations and numerically obtaining both the pair correlation function and the equation of state for a hard disk fluid and finding good agreement with available Monte Carlo results.
A fluid-mechanical model of elastocapillary coalescence
TL;DR: In this article, a fluid-mechanical model of the coalescence of a number of elastic objects due to surface tension is presented, where an array of spring-block elements separated by thin liquid films, whose dynamics are modelled using lubrication theory.

Wrinkling reveals a new isometry of pressurized elastic shells
TL;DR: In this article, the point indentation of a pressurized, spherical elastic shell is considered and it is shown that the wrinkled shell approaches a new, universal shape that reflects a nontrivial type of isometry.
