Paula Rossini Augusti,Greicy M.M. Conterato,Sabrina Somacal,Lídia Einsfeld,Adriano Tony Ramos,Fernando Yutaka Moniwa Hosomi,Dominguita Lühers Graça,Tatiana Emanuelli +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the ability of lycopene to prevent HgCl(2) nephrotoxicity was evaluated in a rat model and the results indicated that although Lycopene did not prevent the increase of plasma creatinine levels, it could play a beneficial role against toxicity by preventing lipid peroxidation and changes in the activity of delta-aminolevulinate dehydratase and antioxidant enzymes.
