Inflammation and Angiogenesis
Domenico Ribatti
- 08 Nov 2017
TL;DR: There is increasing evidence to support the view that angiogenesis and inflammation are mutually dependent and among the cytokines, IL-6, TNF-α and CXCR2 chemokine receptor and its ligand promoteAngiogenesis in tumor microenvironment.

The Italian law on body donation: A position paper of the Italian College of Anatomists
Raffaele De Caro,Rafael Boscolo-Berto,Marco Artico,Eugenio Bertelli,Mario Cannas,Francesco Cappello,Guido Carpino,Sergio Castorina,Amelia Cataldi,Guido Cavaletti,Saverio Cinti,Lucio Cocco,Ottavio Cremona,Enrico Crivellato,Antonio De Luca,Mirella Falconi,Giuseppe Familiari,Gian-Luca Ferri,Francesco Fornai,Marco Gesi,Stefano Geuna,Daniele Gibelli,Antonio Giordano,Pietro Gobbi,Germano Guerra,Massimo Gulisano,Veronica Macchi,Guido Macchiarelli,Lucia Manzoli,Fabrizio Michetti,Sebastiano Miscia,Stefania Montagnani,Andrea Costantino Mario Montella,Sergio Morini,Paolo Onori,Carla Palumbo,Michele Papa,Andrea Porzionato,Daniela Elena Quacci,Mario Raspanti,Mario Rende,Rita Rezzani,Domenico Ribatti,Maurizio Ripani,Luigi Fabrizio Rodella,Pellegrino Rossi,Andrea Sbarbati,Paola Secchiero,Chiarella Sforza,Carla Stecco,Roberto Toni,Alessandro Vercelli,Marco Vitale,Carlo Zancanaro,Giorgio Zauli,Sandra Zecchi,Giuseppe Anastasi,Eugenio Gaudio +57 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors discuss several specific issues to optimise the applicability and effectiveness of such an important, novel regulatory setting, including the grantees of teaching and training activities, role of academic anatomical institutes, the role of family members in the donation process, the universal time limit indicated for any donation, the handling of corpses, and limited body donation and its subordination to the donation of organs and tissues.
VEGF-A/HGF induce Prox-1 expression in the chick embryo chorioallantoic membrane lymphatic vasculature
Anca Maria Cimpean,Edward Seclaman,Raluca Amalia Ceausu,Pusa Nela Gaje,Stefana Feflea,Andrei Anghel,Marius Raica,Domenico Ribatti +7 more
TL;DR: Blood and lymphatic vascular response to VEGF-A/HGF administration was characterized to induce a strong angiogenic response and the expression of Prox-1 in the lymphatic endothelial cells of the CAM.

Impact on knowledge and behaviour of the general population of two different methods of solid waste management: An explorative cross-sectional study
TL;DR: The adoption of a door-to-door scheme seems to be a winning option mostly because it is supported by an information and education system for the citizens, and a high difference concerning the quality of information was found.

Ultrastructural analysis of mast cell recovery after secretion by piecemeal degranulation in B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
TL;DR: The images presented here support the possibility that in B-NHL, MC after PMD, refill empty granule containers in situ, as seen in MC during the angiogenic phase of wound-healing, and that both events, PMD and recovery of MC after their degranulation, occur during biological processes in which MC and angiogenesis are strictly interconnected.
