Effects of chronic hypoxia on microcirculation of the central nervous system during embryonic development
TL;DR: In the attempt to know the factors influencing the vasculogenesis and to verify whether the vessel formation and growth are influenced, during different ontogenetic periods, by oxygen deficiency, the intraneural vascular network has been morphometrically analyzed in chicken embryo optic tectum under conditions of aerogenic hypoxia.

Does Adiponectin Act as an Antiangiogenic Factor in B-Cell Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia?
Stefano Molica,Giovanna Digiesi,Angelo Vacca,Rosanna Mirabelli,Katia Todoerti,Caterina Battaglia,Fortunato Morabito,Antonino Neri,Domenico Ribatti +8 more
TL;DR: Serious data seem to indicate that adiponectin could be involved as an antiangiogenic factor in B-CLL, whereas VEGF transcript was highly expressed with a degree of interpatient variability.

First evidence of in vivo pro-angiogenic activity of cerebrospinal fluid samples from multiple sclerosis patients.
TL;DR: The results of this preliminary report demonstrate for the first time an angiogenic activity in vivo of CSF samples from MS patients and confirm the importance of angiogenesis as a key event in MS pathogenesis and progression.

A milestone in the Study of the Vascular System: Wilhelm Roux’s Doctoral Thesis on the Bifurcation of Blood Vessels
TL;DR: Bard as discussed by the authors wrote that embryology has an "hero" who changed the direction of embryology from its interest in evolution and teleology to a concern with mechanisms, or in the language of those times, from final to efficient causes.
