The chick embryo chorioallantoic membrane as an experimental model to study in vivo angiogenesis in glioblastoma multiforme
TL;DR: In this article , the authors reviewed the literature data concerning the use of the chick embryo chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) assay to study angiogenesis and metastatic potential in GBM.

Blood-brain barrier alterations in MDX mouse, an animal model of the Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
TL;DR: Recent studies on the alterations occurring in the brain vessel wall of the mdx mouse suggest that some neurological dysfunctions of mdx mice and DMD patients could be associated with changes in brain osmotic equilibrium.

Podoplanin and LYVE-1 expression in lymphatic vessels of human neuroblastoma.
TL;DR: The results showed that immunohistochemical staining with both the antibodies anti-podoplanin and anti-LYVE-1 detected lymph vessels in 18 of the 25 human NB specimens examined, confirming the presence of lymphatic vessels in human NB and suggesting further investigation of the interaction of lymphangiogenic factors and their receptors in NB with the D.

Angiogenic activity in vivo of the particulate matter (PM10)
Simona Catino,Maria Tutino,Simona Ruggieri,Christian Marinaccio,Roberto Giua,Gianluigi de Gennaro,Patrizia Corsi,Giorgio Assennato,Domenico Ribatti +8 more
TL;DR: The authors' data show a clear dose-response relationship between the dose variable (PM10 and Bap) and the outcome variable, and the mere gravimetric measure of PM10 cannot be considered a fully reliable surrogate of the overall toxicity of the mixture.

The importance of electron microscopy in the study of capillary endothelial cells: an historical review.
TL;DR: This review article summarizes the literature data concerning the important role played by the electron microscope in the study and characterization of capillary endothelial cells.
