TL;DR: In this article, a method and a system for retrieving a human face on the basis of a Haar classifier and ORB characteristics is presented, where strong classifiers are obtained by training classifiers, the Haar Classifier is obtained after screening and cascading all the strong classifier, and then existence of the human face in an image to be retrieved is detected by the HaAR classifier.
