TL;DR: In this paper, a coal-fired unit running state real-time estimation method and a system thereof in the electric power engineering field is described, and the method comprises the following steps: determiningcoal-fired units running state estimation feature parameters, and gathering history feature parameter data and real time feature parameters data; carrying out cluster analysis for the history feature parametric data, and building a probability-based Gaussian mixture model according to the clustering result.

TL;DR: In this article, a prevention and control method for cascading failures of a coal-fired unit is proposed, which comprises the steps of acquiring a health degree, failure maintenance cost and failure load transferring cost of each coal- fired unit; computing the failure rate of the coal fired unit via the health degree and computing the risk factor of the same through combining with the failure maintenance costs.
