Optical Flow Ratio for Assessing Stenting Result and Physiological Significance of Residual Disease.
Daixin Ding,Wei Yu,Hélène Tauzin,Giovanni Luigi De Maria,Peng Wu,Fan Yang,Rafail A. Kotronias,Dimitrios Terentes-Printzios,Mathias Wolfrum,Adrian P. Banning,Nicolas Meneveau,William Wijns,Shengxian Tu +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated the accuracy of optical flow ratio (OFR) in predicting post-percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) FFR and evaluated the impact of stent expansion on within-stent OFR pressure drop.

Relationship of PCSK9 levels with indices of vascular function and subclinical atherosclerosis in patients with familial dyslipidemias.
Charalambos Vlachopoulos,Iosif Koutagiar,Dimitrios Terentes-Printzios,Ioannis Skoumas,Angeliki Rigatou,Antigoni Miliou,Alexandros-Nikitas Skliros,S. Pantou,Kostantinos Filis,Dimitrios Tousoulis +9 more
TL;DR: In familial dyslipidemias, PCSK9 levels are positively associated with predictors of cardiovascular risk, such as central hemodynamics and cIMT, and these relationships may aid in the stratification of cardiovascularrisk by identifying a high-risk subgroup within these entities.

Beneficial effect of vardenafil on aortic stiffness and wave reflections.
Charalambos Vlachopoulos,Dimitrios Terentes-Printzios,Nikolaos Ioakeimidis,Konstantinos Rokkas,Alexios Samentzas,Athanasios Aggelis,Despina Kardara,Christodoulos Stefanadis +7 more
TL;DR: This study shows, for the first time, that vardenafil has a favorable acute effect on aortic stiffness and wave reflection in ED patients.
