Carbohydrate concentration in Lentils (Lens culinaris Medikus.): genotypic and environmental effects.
TL;DR: Important differences in prebiotic concentrations are demonstrated, which can be used for future lentil breeding efforts when matching cultivars to diverse growing climates with highly variable growing season precipitation.

Calorie control to gut microbiome management- nutrient rich foods for body weight control
TL;DR: Conventional thinking of weight management is solely focused on calorie restrictions on the premise that net calorie is proportional to weight gain or loss, but this thinking ignores all other causative factors that may impact weight management.
Surface properties of semi-synthetic enteric coating films: Opportunities to develop bio-based enteric coating films for colon-targeted delivery
TL;DR: In this article, the surface properties of the semi-synthetic enteric coatings materials for colon-targeted bioactive delivery were investigated by atomic force microscopy for barrier properties, physical stability, and the viscoelastic properties.
