Interface stability of NiCrAlY coating without and with a Cr or Mo diffusion barrier on Ti-42Al-5Mn alloy
Dijuan Han,Dijuan Han,Dongdong Liu,Yaran Niu,Qi Zhixiang,Yangyang Pan,Hao Xu,Xuebin Zheng,Guang Chen +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the microstructure evolution and inter-diffusion behavior of NiCrAlY coatings were studied via isothermal oxidation tests conducted at 950 °C, and the results revealed that substantial interdiffusion happened in the coating without a diffusion barrier.

Isothermal oxidation resistance and microstructure evolution of VPS-TiAlCrY coating on TiAl single crystals at 1100-1200 oC
Dijuan Han,Yangyang Pan,Yaran Niu,Yang Chen,Zhixiang Qi,Xiangfeng Pan,Xuebin Zheng,Guang Chen +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , a VPS-TiAlCrY coating was fabricated on TiAl single crystals by vacuum plasma spray technique to investigate the oxidation resistance and microstructure evolution via isothermal oxidation tests at 1100 and 1200 ℃, respectively.

Thermal insulation performance and thermal shock resistance of plasma-sprayed TiAlCrY/Gd2Zr2O7 thermal barrier coating on γ-TiAl alloy
TL;DR: In this article , the thermal barrier properties of the TiAlCrY/Gd2Zr2O7 thermal barrier coating were investigated and its thermal insulation performance and thermal shock resistance were investigated, which indicated that the thermal insulation ability of the coating was 230-390 °C at 1100 - 1300 °C, which was approximately 40 % higher than that of NiCrAlY/YSZ.

Effect of different SiC / TaSi2 contents on ablation behavior of ZrB2 coating
TL;DR: In this paper , the ablation behavior of four kinds of ZrB2-based composite coatings with different SiC/TaSi2 contents was evaluated by a plasma flame at 1750-2000 ℃.
