Three-year follow-up of advanced melanoma patients who received ipilimumab plus fotemustine in the Italian Network for Tumor Biotherapy (NIBIT)-M1 phase II study.
A.M. Di Giacomo,P.A. Ascierto,Paola Queirolo,Lorenzo Pilla,Ruggero Ridolfi,Mario Santinami,A. Testori,Ester Simeone,Massimo Guidoboni,Andrea Maurichi,L. Orgiano,Giuseppe Spadola,M. Del Vecchio,Riccardo Danielli,Luana Calabrò,Diego Annesi,Diana Giannarelli,Cristina Maccalli,Ester Fonsatti,Giorgio Parmiani,Michele Maio +20 more
TL;DR: Long-term analysis of the NIBIT-M1 trial continues to demonstrate efficacy of ipilimumab combined with fotemustine in MM patients, and fotamustine does not seem to impair the immunologic activity of ipILimumab.

A randomized, phase III study of fotemustine versus the combination of fotemustine and ipilimumab or the combination of ipilimumab and nivolumab in patients with metastatic melanoma with brain metastasis: the NIBIT-M2 trial.
Anna Maria Di Giacomo,Diego Annesi,Paolo A. Ascierto,Luana Calabrò,Vanna Chiarion-Sileni,Riccardo Danielli,Michele Del Vecchio,Virginia Ferraresi,Pier Francesco Ferrucci,Ester Fonsatti,Michele Guida,Diana Giannarelli,Massimo Guidoboni,Mario Mandalà,Pietro Quaglino,Paola Queirolo,Cristina Maccalli,Giorgio Parmiani,Michele Maio +18 more
TL;DR: The NIBIT-M2 study will further explore the efficacy of immunotherapy with check-point blocking mAb in MM pts with BM, based on the highly promising efficacy of Ipi in combination with nivolumab (Nivo) in MM patients without BM.

TL;DR: NIBIT-M1 aims to investigate the efficacy and safety of ipi plus fotemustine (FTM), a cytotoxic alkylating drug, in pts with MM with metastatic melanoma.

Tremelimumab and durvalumab (MEDI4736) combination for first and second-line treatment of mesothelioma patients: The NIBIT-MESO-1 study.
Luana Calabrò,Aldo Morra,Diana Giannarelli,Diego Annesi,Erica Bertocci,Riccardo Danielli,Maresa Altomonte,Anna Maria Di Giacomo,Michele Maio +8 more
TL;DR: The NIBIT-MESO-1 study aimed to investigate the efficacy of tremelimumab combined with the anesthetic cisplatin in malignant mesothelioma patients with a very dismal prognosis.

Abstract LB-228: Pharmacokinetics of Tremelimumab, a fully human anti-CTLA-4 monoclonal antibody, in subjects with unresectable malignant mesothelioma
Luana Calabrò,Rajesh Narwal,Paul B. Robbins,Alessandra Di Pietro,Ornella Cutaia,Ester Fonsatti,Diego Annesi,Carolina Fazio,Ramy Ibrahim,Michele Maio +9 more
TL;DR: The preliminary population pharmacokinetics (PK) of tremelimumab in mesothelioma was assessed and the impact of potential patient/disease characteristics on PK variability was identified and a 2-compartment population PK model adequately described tremel balances with first order elimination was adequately described.
