Mixed land use provides an important means of promoting the intensive and efficient use of land resources and stimulating endogenous development power in rural areas. This paper selected Pingba Village in Chongqing as the research area; the land use status data and the social and economic data on rural settlements in the study area for 2021 were obtained through field visits and interviews. Moreover, the land use types in the rural settlements were subdivided according to the principle of dominant function. Based on these subdivisions, a land mixed-use measurement system for rural settlements was constructed to analyze their levels of mixed land use. Furthermore, the influences of natural environmental, social, economic and other factors on mixed land use were comprehensively explored. The results showed that, (1) the mixed land use of rural settlements in the study area was at a medium level and showed significant spatial variability, and rural settlements in the high, medium and low mixed land use index zones accounted for 12.5%, 35% and 52.5% of the total, respectively. (2) The differences in the natural environment determined the level of mixed land use and the basic pattern of its spatial differentiation. Social and economic factors, such as resident population and average household income, were key impact factors. Rural tourism resources, homestead agglomeration policies and other factors had important impacts on the level of mixed land use. In conclusion, the research suggests that mixed land use is an important way to boost rural revitalization. In the future, village planning could introduce the concept of mixed land use to improve the efficiency of land use, optimize the land use structure according to local conditions and promote the integrated development of rural primary, secondary and tertiary industries. In addition, it is necessary to scientifically and rationally guide rural settlements to agglomerate appropriately to improve the utilization efficiency of land resources and public service resources.

In this paper, the factors influencing the passenger flow of rail transit stations in Shanghai of China are studied by using the entropy weight-grey correlation model. The model assumptions and the corresponding variables are proposed, including traffic accessibility, built environment, regional characteristics of the district to which the rail transit station belongs, conditions of the station and spatial location, which affect the passenger flow of rail transit stations. Based on the assumptions and the variables, the entropy weight-grey correlation model for analyzing the passenger flow of urban rail transit stations is presented. By collecting the data of passenger flow of rail transit stations and corresponding influencing factors in Shanghai, the results of the entropy weight-grey correlation model are obtained. It is shown that the influencing factors, such as the distances from the rail transit station to the adjacent third-class hospital and the adjacent large commercial plazas, district committees, parking areas and the transaction price of important plots, and the gross output value of the tertiary industry, have significant impacts on the passenger flow of a subway station. Finally, some suggestions are proposed for the local governments to formulate improved policies for rail transit development. The conclusions can provide a reference for the development of rail transit in other large cities and countries.

Analyzing the Passenger Flow of Urban Rail Transit Stations by Using Entropy Weight-Grey Correlation Model: A Case Study of Shanghai in China

As urbanization has increased rapidly, the issue of sustainability has become more prominent, and urban sustainability should be the key to achieving the sustainable agenda raised by the UN. This study combines bibliometrics and text mining to analyze the research progress of urban sustainability. A total of 1,031 keywords from 240 documents screened by the PRISMA method are coded to draw heat maps in accordance with the sustainable triple bottom line principle and its cross-scope (Environment, Society, Economics, Environment & Society, Environment & Economics, Society & Economics, Environment, and Society & Economics) with its emphasis on 17 SDGs. The innovation of this study is manifested as the use of heat maps. The results indicate that the existing relevant research still focuses on environmental protection. Besides the general “sustainability” topics, “land use,” “decision-making,” “green city,” and “eco-city” have been more discussed than others. For the SDGs, the SDG 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, and 15 represent clean water, affordable and clean energy, industry, innovation and infrastructure, sustainable cities and communities, and responsible consumption and production and life on land, respectively. Only a small part of the research has begun to focus on the sustainable development of the community. More comprehensive and complete insights should be gained into sustainable development. This study suggests that the research on urban sustainability will be further deepened, and it should be significantly integrated with SGDs and place a focus on the coupling of urban sustainability and economic growth.
