Selective Cu2+ binding, redox silencing, and cytoprotective effects of the small heat shock proteins alphaA- and alphaB-crystallin.
Md. Faiz Ahmad,Devendra Singh,Aftab Taiyab,Tangirala Ramakrishna,Bakthisaran Raman,Ch. Mohan Rao +5 more
TL;DR: This study ascribes a novel functional role to alpha-crystallins in Cu(2+) homeostasis and helps in understanding their protective role in neurodegenerative diseases and cataract.

Investigating the effect of fuel cetane number, oxygen content, fuel density, and engine operating variables on NOx emissions of a heavy duty diesel engine
Devendra Singh,K.A. Subramanian,Manav Juneja,Kalyan Singh,Sathpal Singh,R. Badola,Nishan Singh +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of fuel properties such as cetane number, oxygen content, fuel density, and engine operating variables (speed and load) on NOx emissions were analyzed.

Synergistic effects of metal ion and the pre-senile cataract-causing G98R alphaA-crystallin: self-aggregation propensities and chaperone activity.
TL;DR: G98R αA-crystallin and its mixed oligomers with wild type protein are vulnerable to heavy metal ions and mixed oligomer formation between the wild type and the mutant subunits modulates the Cu2+-induced effect on the self-aggregation propensity.
Landscape of Push Funding in Antibiotic Research: Current Status and Way Forward
TL;DR: A review of push funding mechanisms for antibiotic research can be found in this article , where the authors discuss issues in their effective utilization, recent strategies adopted, and a way forward to streamline funding in antibiotic research.
