TL;DR: The vehicle headlamp has an elliptical reflector with a light source at its first focal point and a collection lens at its second focal point, a rotatable shaft forming light-dark boundaries via two opposing edges and an arrangement for operating and locking a stop in two opposing operating positions with an operating element fixed to the shaft with two stops in the operating positions of the stop and at least one latching element as discussed by the authors.
