H2 generation from catalytic water dissociation on doped nanocluster Pt6X (X=C, Si, and Ge)
TL;DR: In this paper , the effects of doping a carbon-group element (X = C, Si, or Ge) atom in a Pt7 cluster, forming a Pt6X cluster, by density functional theory calculations were investigated.

A First-principles Study of Spin-polarized Transport Properties of a Co-coordination Complex
Qiu-Hua Wu,Peng Zhao,Desheng Liu +2 more
TL;DR: In this article, the spin-polarized transport properties of a Co-coordination complex between two gold electrodes, in which a Co ion is trapped between two 4-mercaptopyridine molecules, were investigated.

Quantum Charge Transfer in Quasi-One-Dimensional Mixed Halide Compounds
TL;DR: In this article, the intrinsic charge transfer in mixed halide compounds PtXxX'1-x was studied in the framework of the two-band extended Pielerls-Hubbard model and it was found that the number of transferred charges can be a fraction times of the electronic charge.

First-principles study of the field-induced current-switch by dithiocarboxylate anchoring group in molecular junction
TL;DR: In this article, the electronic transport properties of 4,4′-biphenyl bis (dithiocarboxylate) (BDCT) molecular junction with the field-induced geometry relaxation were investigated.
