Endoscopic excision as a viable alternative to major resection for early duodenal cancers: A population-based cohort study.
Yongqiang Zheng,Pengcheng Yang,Jiayuan Chen,Kai Yu,Yuzhong Ye,Lei Zhang,Xiaohua Hou,Deshen Wang +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors explored the prevalence and efficacy of endoscopic excision in treatment for early duodenal cancer in comparison with major surgery and found that endoscopic resection was associated with a significantly favorable overall survival (HR: 0.70; 95% CI:0.52-0.95, p = 0.02) and disease-specific survival (DSS) compared to major surgery, for Tis/T1-stage cancer patients.

Delineating the molecular landscape of different histopathological growth patterns in colorectal cancer liver metastases
Ming-Tao Hu,Zhi Gang Chen,Dandan Hu,Shaoyan Xi,Deshen Wang,Xiaolong Zhang,William Pat Fong,Lei Wen,Yan-Yu Cai,Yunfei Yuan,Binkui Li,Xiaojun Wu,Zhen Hai Lu,Gong Chen,Liren Li,Pei-Rong Ding,Zhizhong Pan,De Sen Wan,Ziming Du,Minshan Chen,Yuhong Li +20 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors performed an exploratory analysis by conducting the RNA sequencing of primary colorectal lesions, colon cancer metastatic lesions and normal liver tissues and found that desmoplastic histopathological growth patterns (HGPs) were significantly enriched in EMT, angiogenesis, stroma, and immune signaling pathways, while replacement HGPs were enriched in metabolism, cell cycle, and DNA damage repair pathways.
