Phil Cigan,Mikako Matsuura,Haley Louise Gomez,Remy Indebetouw,F. J. Abellan,Michael Gabler,Anita M. S. Richards,Dennis Alp,Timothy A. Davis,Hans-Thomas Janka,Jason Spyromilio,M. J. Barlow,David N. Burrows,Eli Dwek,Claes Fransson,Bryan Gaensler,Josefin Larsson,Patrice Bouchet,Peter Lundqvist,J. M. Marcaide,Cherry Ng,Sangwook Park,Patrick F. Roche,Jacco Th. van Loon,J. C. Wheeler,Giovanna Zanardo +25 more
TL;DR: In this article, high angular resolution (~80 mas) ALMA continuum images of the SN 1987A system, together with CO J = 2 $\to$ 1, J = 6 $\to $ 5, and SiO J = 5 $\to € 4 to J = 7 $\to€ 6 images, were presented, which clearly resolve the ejecta (dust continuum and molecules) and ring (synchrotron continuum) components.

The Matter Beyond the Ring : The Recent Evolution of SN 1987A Observed by the Hubble Space Telescope
Josefin Larsson,Claes Fransson,Dennis Alp,Peter M. Challis,Roger A. Chevalier,Robert P. Kirshner,Robert P. Kirshner,Stephen S. Lawrence,Bruno Leibundgut,Peter Lundqvist,Seppo Mattila,K. Migotto,Jesper Sollerman,G. Sonneborn,Jason Spyromilio,Nicholas B. Suntzeff,J. C. Wheeler +16 more
TL;DR: The nearby supernova SN 1987A offers a spatially resolved view of the evolution of a young supernova (SN) remnant as discussed by the authors, which can be used as a reference for future work.
