A one-to-one correspondence between colorings and stable sets
Denis Cornaz,Vincent Jost +1 more
TL;DR: The Max-Coloring problem in G reduces to the Maximum Weighted Stable set problem in [email protected]?

Solving vertex coloring problems as maximum weight stable set problems
TL;DR: This work exploits the transformation proposed by Cornaz and Jost (2008) and largely outperform the state-of-the-art algorithm for the Max-coloring Problem, and is able to solve, for the first time to proven optimality, 14 Max- coloring and 2 Equitable Coloring instances.

The vertex k-cut problem
TL;DR: It is proved that the problem of finding a vertex k -cut of G of minimum cardinality is NP-hard for any fixed k ≥ 3 and a compact formulation and an extended formulation are presented from which a column generation and a branching scheme are derived.

Chromatic characterization of biclique covers
Denis Cornaz,Jean Fonlupt +1 more
TL;DR: From the study of minimal dependent sets, a 0-1 linear programming formulation of the following problem: find the maximum weighted biclique in a graph is derived and it is proved that the continuous relaxation of this integer program can be solved in polynomial time.
