Actein inhibits glioma growth via a mitochondria-mediated pathway
TL;DR: It is suggested that administration of Actein may serve as a potent therapeutic strategy for treatment of glioma because it suppressed tumor growth and consistently induced cell apoptosis with the same mechanisms observed in vitro.

Malignant transformation of glioma stromal cells induced by glioma stem cells heterotopically inoculated in host liver
Jinding Wu,Delin Wang,Xingliang Dai,Zhongyong Wang,Bing Liu,Zhaohui Lu,Aidong Wang,Jun Dong,Qing Lan,Qiang Huang +9 more
TL;DR: Tumor stromal cells have the potential of malignant transformation in a heterotopic xenograft glioma model and may also occur outside the central nervous system and contribute to tumor heterogeneity.

Establishment of malignantly transformed dendritic cell line SU3-ihDCTC induced by Glioma stem cells and study on its sensitivity to resveratrol.
Xifeng Fei,Anqi Wang,Delin Wang,Xan Meng,Jiawei Ma,Lei Hong,Ruwei Qin,Aidong Wang,Jun Dong,Qiang Huang,Zhimin Wang +10 more
TL;DR: In vitro co-culture with GSC can induce the malignant transformation of bone marrow derived dendritic cells, ihDCTC shows higher drug resistance to the traditional chemotherapeutic drug Cis than G SCs, but, on the other hand, appears to be more sensitive to Res than GSCs.
