Clouding phenomenon and SANS studies on tetra-n-butylammonium dodecylsulfate micellar solutions in the absence and presence of salts
TL;DR: Clouding phenomenon in aqueous micellar solutions of an anionic surfactant tetra-n-butylammonium dodecylsulfate (TBADS) has been observed and it is proposed that clustering is due to depletion of H-bonded water present around the butyl chains at the mousellar surface.

Structural modifications of aqueous ionic micelles in the presence of denaturants as studied by DLS and viscometry.
TL;DR: The data signal the exposure of biological assemblies to water at higher [additive], which causes a decrease in hydrophobic interactions responsible for compact structure formation (i.e., native protein).

Small-angle neutron scattering studies on sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate-tetra- n -butylammonium bromide systems
TL;DR: In this article, a phase study was completed on aqueous sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate (SDBS) and tetra-n-butyl-ammonium bromide (Bu4NBr) systems, and consolute boundaries were drawn through cloud points.

Effect of ureas and alkylureas on the sphere-to-rod transition in aqueous ionic micellar solutions
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of urea derivatives on the sphere-to-rod transition in a typical system of 35% (w/v) sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) + 1-pentanol in aqueous solution have been investigated using viscosity and dynamic light scattering measurements.
