Texture weakening in pure magnesium during grain growth
TL;DR: In this article, the microstructure and texture evolution during annealing of rolled pure Mg, at temperatures ranging from 150 to 400°C, was characterised in the present study.

Effect of addition of multiwalled carbon nanotube/graphite nanoplatelets hybrid on the mechanical properties of aluminium
Pankaj Shrivastava,Syed Nasimul Alam,Deepankar Panda,Santosh Kumar Sahoo,T.N. Maity,Krishanu Biswas +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of the addition of multiwalled carbon nanotubes-exfoliated graphite nanoplatelets (MWCNT-xGnP) hybrid nanofiller on the mechanical properties of aluminium (Al) has been reported.

Orientation dependent recrystallization mechanism during static annealing of pure magnesium
TL;DR: In this article, the orientation dependent recrystallization mechanism in pure magnesium is discussed in light of the experimental results, and the formation of sub-grains from the parent grain was observed during annealing of the samples irrespective of the orientation of the grains.
29
Growth mechanism of extension twin variants during annealing of pure magnesium: An ‘ex situ’ electron backscattered diffraction investigation
TL;DR: In this paper, pure magnesium was subjected to plastic deformation through CSM indentation followed by annealing at 200°C for 30min, and the growth of twins was independent of the strain distribution between parent and twinned grains.

Synthesis of Al2Cu intermetallic compound by mechanical alloying
Syed Nasimul Alam,P.P. Shrivastava,Deepankar Panda,Bhagavant Gunale,Kunapuli Susmitha,Pridvuraj Pola +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the effect of milling duration on the synthesis of Al2Cu intermetallic compound was analyzed using several analytical techniques like XRD, SEM, EDX, HRTEM, and DSC/TGA.
