Cationic terminal borylenes by halide abstraction: synthesis and spectroscopic and structural characterization of an Fe=B double bond.
TL;DR: Analyses of IR, NMR, crystallographic, and DFT data are consistent with the presence of an Fe=B double bond.

Carbonyl analogues? Analysis of Fe-E (E=B, Al, Ga) bonding in cationic terminal diyl complexes by density functional theory.
TL;DR: On the basis of BDEs, DeltaEorb values and sigma/pi covalent ratios, the bonding in cationic terminal borylene complexes such as 1 appears to have as much right to be termed a M=E double bond as does that in archetypal Fischer carbene and related complexes.

Fe-Ga multiple bonding? Synthesis, spectroscopic and structural characterization of a transition metal complex containing a cationic two-coordinate gallium centre.
Natalie R. Bunn,Simon Aldridge,Deborah L. Coombs,Andrea Rossin,David J. Willock,Cameron Jones,Liling Ooi +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis and characterization of the cationic iron complex [{(η5-C5Me5)Fe(CO)2}2Ga]+[BArf4]− [Arf = C6H3(CF3)2-3,5] containing a symmetrically bridging two-coordinate gallium atom and a delocalised Fe-GaÕ π system incorporating partial FeÕ multiple bond character was reported.

[(η5-C5H5)Fe(CO)2]2B(2,4,6-Me3C6H2): synthesis, spectroscopic and structural characterization of a transition metal complex containing an unsupported bridging borylene ligand
TL;DR: The synthesis and characterisation of the dinuclear iron complex [(eta 5-C5H5)Fe(CO)2]2B(2,4,6-Me3C6H2) containing an unsupported bridging borylene ligand are reported.

Synthetic, structural and reaction chemistry of transition metal complexes containing the mesitylborylene ligand
TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis, spectroscopic and structural characterization of the bromo-boryl complexes (η5-C5R4R′)Fe(CO)2B(2,4,6-Me3C6H2)Br (R = R′======¯¯¯¯= H, 2; R = H, R′龍哘= Me, 3; R= R′\/\/\/\/\/\/¯¯¯¯= ME, 4) are reported.
