Chemical Stability of (Ag,Cu)2Se: a Historical Overview
TL;DR: In this paper, a simple test of degradation of Cu2Se under conditions of applied current and thermal gradient was performed and showed results compatible with the work done by General Atomics and 3M.

Phase transition enhanced thermoelectric figure-of-merit in copper chalcogenides
David R. Brown,Tristan Day,Kasper A. Borup,Sebastian Christensen,Bo B. Iversen,G. Jeffrey Snyder +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate that coupling a continuous phase transition to carrier transport in Cu 2Se over a broad (360-410 K) temperature range results in a dramatic peak in thermopower, an increase in phonon and electron scattering, and a corresponding doubling of zT (to 0.7 at 406 K).

Enhanced thermoelectric performance in the very low thermal conductivity Ag2Se0.5Te0.5
TL;DR: In this paper, the high-temperature thermoelectric properties of Ag_2Se_(0.5)Te_( 0.5), an alloy with very low thermal conductivity, were investigated.
Deep Parallel Characterization of AAV Tropism and AAV-Mediated Transcriptional Changes via Single-Cell RNA Sequencing
David R. Brown,Michael Altermatt,Tatyana Dobreva,Sisi Chen,Alexander Wang,Matt Thomson,Viviana Gradinaru +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) pipeline was developed for in vivo characterization of barcoded rAAV pools at high resolution, and the results showed that the tropism profile of AAV was shifted toward neurons and away from astrocytes when compared with AAV-PHP.
High-temperature thermoelectric properties of Cu1.97Ag0.03Se1+y
Tristan Day,Kasper A. Borup,Tiansong Zhang,Fivos Drymiotis,David R. Brown,Xun Shi,Lidong Chen,Bo B. Iversen,G. Jeffrey Snyder +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors showed that adding Ag to copper selenide increases the dimensionless figure-of-merit up to 780 K, with Cu1.97Ag0.03Se reaching a zT of 1.0 at 870 K.
