Sonic hedgehog-responsive genes in the fetal prostate.
TL;DR: Microarray analysis on a Shh-responsive, immortalized urogential sinus mesenchymal cell line found 68 genes that were up-regulated by Shh and 21 genes that was down-regulated, and three of the 18 genes contained putative Gli binding motifs that bound Gli1 peptide in electrophoretic mobility shift assays.
Survival of patients with orbital and eyelid rhabdomyosarcoma treated on Children's Oncology Group studies from 1997 to 2013: A report from the Children's Oncology Group
Jonathan Metts,Wei Xue,Zhengya Gao,R.D. Ermoian,Julie A. Bradley,Michael Arnold,Roshni Dasgupta,Rajkumar Venkatramani,David O. Walterhouse +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the long-term follow-up of patients with low-risk ORMS and outcomes of less common subgroups of ORMS treated on recent Children's Oncology Group (COG) trials have not been reported.
N-myc can substitute for insulin-like growth factor signaling in a mouse model of sonic hedgehog-induced medulloblastoma.
Samuel R. Browd,Anna Marie Kenney,Oren N. Gottfried,Joon Won Yoon,David O. Walterhouse,Carolyn A. Pedone,Daniel W. Fults +6 more
TL;DR: A high frequency of medulloblastoma formation in mice following postnatal overexpression of Shh in cooperation with N-myc is reported, indicating that Shh has transforming functions in addition to induction of N- myc and Gli1.
Regulation of GLI1 by cis DNA elements and epigenetic marks.
Robert L. Taylor,Jun Long,Joon Won Yoon,Ronnie Childs,Kathrine B. Sylvestersen,Michael L. Nielsen,King Fu Leong,Stephen Iannaccone,David O. Walterhouse,David J. Robbins,Philip M. Iannaccone +10 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that GLI1 and GLI2 can regulateGLI1 expression through protein-protein interactions involving complexes of transcription factors, histone variants, and reader proteins in the regulatory intron of the GLI 1 gene.
CLINICAL CASE SEMINAR Long-Term (15 Years) Outcome in an Infant with Metastatic Adrenocortical Carcinoma
Beverly J. Lange,David O. Walterhouse,Thomas Moshang +2 more
- 01 Jan 2002
TL;DR: The successful long-term outcome and recovery from the toxic effects of mitotane is reported of a case of metastatic adrenocortical carcinoma presenting in infancy treated with surgical resection and Mitotane.
