Uniform nanoparticle coating of cellulose fibers during wet electrospinning
Yingying Zheng,Yingying Zheng,Jianjun Miao,Maeda Noriko,David Frey,Robert J. Linhardt,Trevor J. Simmons +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a newly developed method that allows electrospun cellulose fibers to be coated with nanoparticles during dry-jet wet electrospinning was presented, which showed that the placement of the nanoparticles exclusively on the surface of the cellulose fiber dramatically impacted the functionality of the fibers.

Resistivity of epitaxial copper nanolines with trapezoidal cross-section
TL;DR: In this paper, the resistivity of epitaxial Cu nanolines with line width ranging from 20 to 180nm and line height from 40 to 50nm was measured using a four-point probe technique.

Ionically Complexed Nanoparticles for Heparin Oral Delivery
B. V. R. S. Subramaniam,Nicole Leonick,Fuming Zhang,Varenya Gade,David Frey,Robert J. Linhardt,Richard A. Gross +6 more
TL;DR: Results obtained in vitro suggest that these stabilized, ionically complexed nanoparticles may be well-suited for the oral drug delivery of heparin into the gastrointestinal tract.
Scalable synthesis of two-dimensional antimony telluride nanoplates down to a single quintuple layer
Fan Yang,Robin B. Jacobs-Gedrim,Mariyappan Shanmugam,Nikhil Jain,Michael C. Murphy,Eui Sang Song,David Frey,Bin Yu +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate a controlled assembly of a two-dimensional V-VI group compound, Sb2Te3 nanoplates (NPs), through a vapor-solid growth process.
