Perovskite materials are very sensitive to the environment which is beneficial for humidity sensing. However, the existing illuminating humidity sensor has low luminous efficiency and sensitivity. Besides, the stability of perovskite materials remains a key issue to be resolved. Compared to luminescence, lasing is much more sensitive to the surrounding environmental situation. However, humidity sensing based on perovskite lasing has not been reported so far. In this work, all-inorganic halide perovskite CsPbBr3 nanorods with an optical gain coefficient as high as 954 cm−1 were designed and fabricated. Moreover, a microscale hydrophobic zeolite was introduced to modify perovskites for improved stability. It is interesting to note that the hydrophobic zeolite introduces strong scattering which is beneficial for three-dimensional random lasing with a quality (Q) factor of 2263. Through the strategy of using lasing instead of luminescence, optical stability and sensitive laser humidity sensing were demonstrated, and it exhibits high sensitivity and good reliability. This work provides a new idea of improved stability of perovskites, which will promote the practical application of perovskite materials and devices.

Surface modification of all-inorganic halide perovskite nanorods by a microscale hydrophobic zeolite for stable and sensitive laser humidity sensing

Graphite nanoplatelets (GNPs) are outstanding thermal conductive fillers due to their unique crystal structure which consists of layered graphene formed by sp2-hybridized carbon atoms, but their preparation process is time-consuming. Herein, a high-efficiency and low-cost method is developed to prepare GNPs with controlled size without destroying their crystal structure. GNPs with an average size around 20 μm are obtained by a facile nitric acid treatment within 0.5 h, and 1–5 μm GNPs are produced by controlling ultrasonic time within 6 h in cheap commercial detergent. In addition, thermal network is fabricated by combining ~ 20 μm GNPs with 1–5 μm GNPs in epoxy. The existing researches have qualitatively demonstrated that hybrid carbon fillers with obvious size differences can enhance the thermal conductivity of epoxy through size synergistic effects, but rare quantitative studies pay attention to optimize size synergistic effects. This work demonstrates that different degrees of size synergistic effects can be achieved by tuning the size of small-sized GNPs, the proportion of different sized GNPs and the content of hybrid fillers. The results show that when the hybrid filler loading is 20 wt% and the ratio of ~ 20 μm GNPs to 1.82 μm GNPs is 17:3, the composite produces the optimal size synergistic effect and thermal conductivity reaches 1.33 W/m K, increased by 739% over neat epoxy. This composite has promising application in the thermal management areas due to its high thermal conductivity and economic competitiveness.

The invention discloses a preparation method of graphene. The method comprises the following steps: a) dissolving Arabic gum into de-ionized water and continuously stirring and heating until the Arabic gum is completely dissolved, so as to obtain a light yellow solution; b) taking the light yellow solution and adding into a polytetrafluoroethylene pot filled with ZrO2 spheres; carrying out ball milling for 5 to 10min at the rotary speed of 200 to 300 rpm, so as to attach the solution on the surfaces of the spheres; then adding graphite powder, and carrying out ball milling for 5 to 10 h underthe same condition; then adding de-ionized water and continually carrying out ball milling for 10 to 20 min; taking out the solution and centrifuging for 30 to 60 min at the speed of 1000 to 5000 rpm;removing sediment to obtain a uniform and stable black solution, i.e., the graphene. The preparation method disclosed by the invention takes the Arabic gum and the graphite as raw materials; a graphene solution is obtained through mechanical ball milling and centrifugal separation effects, and the size of the obtained graphene is 2 to 3 mu m. The graphene is doped into a high molecular material and the heat conduction performance of the high molecular material can be remarkably improved.

Terbium Tetra‐Sulfosalicylate Complex as Quantitative Luminescent Sensing of Chromate Ions with High Selectivity and Sensitivity

The stickiness of acacia gum was used to assist in the ball milling of graphite in aqueous media. Graphite is successfully exfoliated through a “sticky tape” mechanism, to give a 2.06 mg mL−1 aqueous dispersion of graphene. PEG6000 doped with 0.4 wt% of as-prepared graphene nanosheets (GN) exhibited obviously growing enthalpies and increasing thermal conductivity by 260% over pure PEG6000.
