Mechanisms of Degradation of Paraoxon in Different Ionic Liquids
Paulina Pavez,Daniela Millán,Javiera I. Morales,Enrique A. Castro,A Claudio López,José G. Santos +5 more
TL;DR: The results show that both the rate and products distribution of this reaction depend on peculiar features of ILs as reaction media and the polarity of COS.

Self-Sustaining Supramolecular Ionic Liquid Gels for Dye Adsorption
Carla Rizzo,Salvatore Marullo,Paola R. Campodónico,Ivana Pibiri,Nadka Tz. Dintcheva,Renato Noto,Daniela Millán,Francesca D'Anna +7 more
TL;DR: Novel ionogels formed by organic salts with different anions show self-strengthening behavior, a quite unusual property for supramolecular gels, and they also exhibit a good load-bearing capacity, and are able to remove cationic dyes from wastewater.

Solvatochromism and electrophilicity
TL;DR: In this article, the Fukui electrophilic functions f G + of the donor and acceptor moieties of the molecule, calculated in the gas-phase and in solvents treated as polarised continua, were used to predict the solvatochromism of phenolate betaines.

Ionic liquids: anion effect on the reaction of O,O-diethyl O-(2,4-dinitrophenyl) phosphate triester with piperidine
TL;DR: In this article, the reactions of O,O-diethyl 2,4-dinitrophenylphosphate triester with piperidine in ionic liquids and four conventional organic solvents (COS) were subjected to kinetic and product studies.

Choline [Amino Acid] Ionic Liquid/Water Mixtures: A Triple Effect for the Degradation of an Organophosphorus Pesticide.
Paulina Pavez,Roberto Figueroa,Mayte Medina,Daniela Millán,R. Darío Falcone,Ricardo A. Tapia +5 more
- 05 Oct 2020
TL;DR: The results show that [Ch][AA]/water mixtures are an effective reaction medium to degrade Paraoxon, even when the IL content in the mixture is low and without the need of an extra nucleophile.
