Lumbar spine intervertebral disc desiccation is associated with medical comorbidities linked to systemic inflammation.
Mark J Lambrechts,Chase A Pitchford,Daniel W. Hogan,Jinpu Li,Casey A. Fogarty,Sury Rawat,Emily Leary,James L. Cook,Theodore J. Choma +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the Griffith-modified Pfirrmann grading system was evaluated for lumbar spine intervertebral disc desiccation and height loss according to the Bivariate and multivariable linear regression analyses.

Comparison of MPFL Repair Versus MPFL Reconstruction for Refractory Patella Instability in Patients Under 18 Years Old
Seth L. Sherman,Derek Geeslin,Daniel W. Hogan,John Welsh,Joseph M. Rund,John R. Worley,Ma Richard,Aaron D. Gray +7 more
TL;DR: In patients under 18 years old undergoing surgery for refractory patella instability, both MPFL allograft reconstruction and MPFL primary repair demonstrated no difference in subjective outcome scores at midterm follow-up.

Comparison of bone-patella tendon-bone (btb) and quadriceps autograft for acl reconstruction in patients under 18 years of age:
Seth L. Sherman,Daniel W. Hogan,Derek Geeslin,Joseph M. Rund,M. Benjamin Burch,Richard Ma,Aaron D. Gray +6 more
TL;DR: Quarterly cohorts of patients under 18 years old undergoing ACL reconstruction with either BTB or quadriceps autograft demonstrated significant subjective improvements and low rates of complications requiring re-operation, and Quadriceps Autograft appears to be a safe and effective alternative to BTB autografted in this challenging patient population.

Comparison of Outcomes for Laser Trabeculoplasty after Kahook Dual Blade Goniotomy Versus in Goniotomy-Naive Eyes
Junsang Cho,Daniel W. Hogan,Muhammad Salim,Eli L. Pratte,Joshua King,Riley Bylund,Matthew T Hirabayashi,Jella A An +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a comparison of laser trabeculoplasty (LTP) outcomes in eyes with prior Kahook Dual Blade (KDB) goniotomy versus in goniotoma-naive control eyes was made.
Author Reply to "Regarding 'No Difference in Complication Rates or Patient-Reported Outcomes Between Bone-Patellar Tendon-Bone and Quadriceps Tendon Autograft for Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction"'.
Daniel W. Hogan,M. Benjamin Burch,Joseph M. Rund,Derek Geeslin,Richard Ma,Aaron F. Gray,Constance R. Chu,Taylor Ray,W. Michael Pullen,Seth L. Sherman +9 more
TL;DR: Cerulli et al. as mentioned in this paper showed that there is always some innate surgeon bias in graft selection based on personal preferences, training biases, interpretation of the literature, or other factors, particularly in contact athletes or high-demand individuals.
