SPITFIRE: toward a semantic web of things
Dennis Pfisterer,Kay Römer,Daniel Bimschas,Oliver Kleine,Richard Mietz,Cuong Truong,Henning Hasemann,Alexander Kröller,Max Pagel,Manfred Hauswirth,Marcel Karnstedt,Myriam Leggieri,Alexandre Passant,Ray Richardson +13 more
TL;DR: The vision and architecture of a Semantic Web of Things is described: a service infrastructure that makes the deployment and use of semantic applications involving Internet-connected sensors almost as easy as building, searching, and reading a web page today.

Middleware for smart gateways connecting sensornets to the internet
Daniel Bimschas,Horst Hellbrück,Richard Mietz,Dennis Pfisterer,Kay Römer,Torsten Teubler +5 more
- 30 Nov 2010
TL;DR: The design of a middleware for smart gateways that allows the execution of application code on the gateway by offering simplified interfaces to the sensor network and the Internet is presented.
Semantic-Service Provisioning for the Internet of Things
Daniel Bimschas,Henning Hasemann,Manfred Hauswirth,Marcel Karnstedt,Oliver Kleine,Alexander Kröller,Myriam Leggieri,Richard Mietz,Alexandre Passant,Dennis Pfisterer,Kay Römer,Cuong Truong +11 more

Debugging the internet of things: a 6LoWPAN/CoAP testbed infrastructure
Daniel Bimschas,Oliver Kleine,Dennis Pfisterer +2 more
- 09 Jul 2012
TL;DR: This paper's contribution allows an easy-to-use browser-based experimentation and evaluation of wireless multi-hop protocols in all WISEBED-compatible testbeds, and demonstrates the usability of the approach by means of a real-world use-case.

Topology Virtualization for Wireless Sensor Network Testbeds
Daniel Bimschas,Maick Danckwardt,Dennis Pfisterer,Stefan Fischer,Tobias Baumgartner,Alexander Kröller,Sándor P. Fekete +6 more
- 18 May 2010
TL;DR: The approach to virtualizing Wireless Sensor Network testbeds is shown, which is able to reconfigure the topology of a WSN testbed without changing the physical location of nodes; it even allows building virtual topologies on top of federated test beds.
