Fullerene C60, 2CCl4 solvate. A solid-state study
René Céolin,Viatcheslav N. Agafonov,Daniel André,A. Dworkin,Henri Szwarc,Jerôme Dugué,Bieneta Keita,Louis Nadjo,Claude Fabre,André Rassat +9 more
TL;DR: By slowly evaporating solutions of fullerene C60 in CCl4 at room temperature, a stable solvate (C60, 2CCl4) crystallizes in a simple hexagonal system as discussed by the authors.

Molecular packing of fullerene C60 at room temperature
Daniel André,A. Dworkin,Henri Szwarc,René Céolin,Viatcheslav N. Agafonov,Claude Fabre,André Rassat,Leo Straver,Patrick Bernier,Ahmed Zahab +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a single crystal of C60 grown from a toluene solution has been studied by X-ray diffraction at room temperature, and the lattice is face-centered cubic, with space group Fm3m and Z = 4.

Structural phase transitions in single crystal C60
Roger Moret,P.A. Albouy,Viatcheslav N. Agafonov,René Céolin,Daniel André,A. Dworkin,Henri Szwarc,Claude Fabre,André Rassat,Ahmed Zahab,Patrick Bernier +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the intensity of selected reflections which appear at the face-centered cubic-simple cubic transition was measured as a function of temperature down to 23 k. This orientational ordering transition is found at T 0=259±1 k. It displays a hysteresis of about 1 k but no discontinuity of the intensity at T0.
Atomic force microscopy characterization of stable faces in cubic C60 and hexagonal C60, 2CCl4 single crystals
Bineta Keita,Louis Nadjo,René Céolin,Viatcheslav N. Agafonov,Daniel André,Henri Szwarc,Jérôme Dugué,Claude Fabre,André Rassat +8 more
- 01 Feb 1994
TL;DR: In this paper, atomic force microscopy (AFM) images have been obtained for all these faces in every case, and molecular resolution has been achieved for all of these faces.

Fullerene C70, toluene 1:1 solvate: structural and thermodynamic evidences
Viatcheslav N. Agafonov,René Céolin,Daniel André,Jeroen de Bruijn,Anne Gonthier-Vassal,Henri Szwarc,Noël Rodier,Jérôme Dugué,Siro Toscani,Pierre-Yves Sizaret,Claude Fabre,Virginie Greugny,André Rassat +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, X-ray diffraction and thermodynamic measurements show that crystalline fullerene C70 obtained from toluene solutions is a C70, to-luene 1:1 solvate and a hierarchy of relative stabilities of these latter phase is tentatively proposed.
