Role of the Death Receptor and Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress Signaling Pathways in Polyphyllin I-Regulated Apoptosis of Human Hepatocellular Carcinoma HepG2 Cells.
Qihui Luo,Dandan Yang,Qi Qi,Chao Huang,Bing Chen,Wentao Liu,Liangqin Shi,Yu Xia,Li Tang,Jing Fang,Yangping Ou,Yi Geng,Zhengli Chen +12 more
TL;DR: Investigation into the molecular mechanism of PPI indicated that PPI notably mediated ER stress activation via IRE-1 overexpression and activation of the caspase-12 to protect HepG2 cells against apoptosis, and endoplasmic reticulum stress may serve a protective role in this process.
A Comprehensive Identification and Expression Analysis of VQ Motif-Containing Proteins in Sugarcane (Saccharum spontaneum L.) under Phytohormone Treatment and Cold Stress
Ying Liu,Xiaolan Liu,Dandan Yang,Zengqi Yin,Yao-Qin Jiang,Hui Ling,Ning Huang,Da-wei Zhang,Jinfeng Wu,Lili Liu,Liping Xu,Mingli Yan,Youxiong Que,Dinggang Zhou +13 more
TL;DR: In this article , the VQ motif-containing proteins play a vital role in various processes such as growth, resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses and development in sugarcane.

Bcl10 phosphorylation-dependent droplet-like condensation positively regulates DNA virus-induced innate immune signaling
Dandan Yang,Gaofeng Pei,Shuangshuang Dong,Wenhao Zhang,Haiteng Deng,Xueqiang Zhao,Pilong Li,Xin Lin +7 more
TL;DR: This study elucidates that Bcl10 induces an innate immune response by undergoing droplet-like condensation and participating in signalosome formation downstream of the cGAS-STING pathway.
