Effect of surface oxidation on nonlinear optical absorption in WS2 nanosheets
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of size-dependent surface oxidation on nonlinear optical properties in WS2 was investigated using a Z-scan technique equipped with 800 nm femtosecond laser.

Electrophoretic deposition of ZnSnO3/MoS2 heterojunction photoanode with improved photoelectric response by low recombination rate
TL;DR: In this paper, photostable ZnSnO3 and MoS2 based heterojunction photoanodes were synthesized readily via an electrophoretic deposition method, and the photoelectrochemical measurements revealed that the maximum photocurrent density of these ZnsnO3/MoS2 heterojunctions photoanode is ∼2.3 times and ∼27.3

Enhanced Nonlinear Saturable Absorption from Type III van der Waals Heterostructure Bi2S3/MoS2 by Interlayer Electron Transition
TL;DR: In this paper, a van der Waals heterostructures (vdWHs) are used to form mixed vdWHs by liquid-phase exfoliation method combined with a vacuum filtration technique.
