Medical devices and methods for using medical devices are disclosed. An access device for accessing a target site comprises a tubular member having a proximal portion and a distal portion. The access device may also include a balloon coupled to the tubular member, the balloon extending between the tubular member proximal portion and the tubular member distal portion. The access device may also include a stylet moveable with respect to the tubular member, wherein the stylet is configured to pierce through the skin of a patient.

An object of the present invention is to provide a varicose vein surgery kit capable of effectively treating varicose veins by a combination of a catheter injecting a drug and a radiation optical fiber emitting a laser. The present invention comprises: a catheter (10) having a lumen (11) formed therein and having a catheter tip (12) at one end thereof and first and second ports (14, 16) at the other end thereof; a radiation optical fiber (20) having a radial tip (22) inserted into the lumen (11) through the first port (14), connected to a laser generator (21), and outputting a laser in a 360° direction at the end thereof; and a drug passage (30) formed between the outer diameter of the radiation optical fiber (20) and the inner diameter of the lumen (11) and communicated with the second port (16) to supply a vasoocclusion drug through a syringe part (32). When using the varicose vein surgery kit, by the combination of a catheter injecting a drug and a radiation optical fiber emitting a laser in the 360° direction, the use of drugs is minimized, and the treatment area for varicose veins is expanded without side effects by using a low-power laser, and the operation time is shortened. In particular, the kit can be universally applied to blood vessels of various sizes with a simple method of adjusting the laser output.

The control device comprises a fixed unit and a movable unit, wherein the fixed unit comprises a screw rod; the screw rod is providedwith an accommodating hole and a sliding groove communicated with the accommodating hole; the movable unit comprises a connecting piece, a first handle, a matching piece and a control piece; the connecting piece is provided with a first connecting body and a second connecting body fixed to the first connecting body; the first connecting body is arranged in the accommodating hole and is in slidingfit with the screw rod; the first connecting body is provided with a connecting part, and the second connecting body penetrates through the sliding groove to be rotationally connected with the first handle; the first handle is hollow, the outer side of the screw rod is sleeved with the first handle, the first handle can move relative to the screw rod; the matching piece is arranged in the first handle, and the matching piece is provided with an internal thread structure matched with the screw rod; and the control piece is movably arranged on the handle. The control device can control the quickmovement and slow movement of the connecting piece, and is beneficial to control the release speed of an intravascular stent. The conveying equipment adopts the control device.

Translational movement and rotational movement of the hub is configured to deploy a stent located within the outer shaft.
