TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the anti-wrinkle effect of I. indigotica leaf extract on human skin and found that three fractions from the extract downregulated the mRNA expression of matrix metalloproteinase-1 and -3 and upregulated the expression of interleukin 4.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the potential of Pueraria lobata (Willd) stem extract as a skin whitening agent and found that the derived, enriched P. lobata stem extract significantly inhibited melanin production in the 3-isobutyl-1-methylxanthine-induced B16/F10 cells at a concentration of 50 μg/mL.
