TL;DR: Experimental results showed that the cyanobacterium Spirulina (= Arthrospira) platensis cultivated under sufficient turbulence and biomass density was able to acclimate to irradiance values as high as 7 mmol photon m−2 s−1, showing the strategy of microalgal acclimation to supra-high solar irradiance was unique.

Infrared reflection system for indoor 3D tracking of fish
TL;DR: In this article, an indoor 3D tracking of fish demonstrated in the current study allows for automation of fish behavior monitoring, reducing the system running costs by eliminating the need for continuous human monitoring and increasing the behavioral analysis accuracy by excluding the human subjectivity factor.

Linear and nonlinear optical susceptibilities of 3-phenylamino-4-phenyl-1,2,4-triazole-5-thione.
TL;DR: First-principles calculations of the linear and nonlinear optical susceptibilities of 3-phenylamino-4-phenyl-1,2,4-triazole-5-thione crystals are reported, showing that this crystal possesses an indirect energy gap of 3.1 eV and exhibits some uniaxial dielectric anisotropy resulting in a strong birefringence.

TL;DR: In this paper, a comprehensive experimental and theoretical investigation of dispersion of the linear and nonlinear optical susceptibilities for amino acidL-alanine single crystals is reported. And the atomic positions from X-ray diffraction have been optimized so that the force on each atom is around 1 mRy au−1.
