Bimetallic Ru–M/TiO2 (M = Fe, Ni, Cu, Co) nanocomposite catalysts facribated by galvanic replacement: Structural elucidation and catalytic behavior in benzene selective hydrogenation
TL;DR: In this article, a galvanic replacement between the previously supported Fe, Ni, Cu, and Co nanoparticles (NPs) and Ru salt followed by acid treatment was developed for the fabrication of bimetallic Ru-M/TiO2 (M = Fe, Ni and Cu, Co) nanocomposite catalysts, which were comprehensively investigated by transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic spectrum and Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy of adsorbed pyridine.

Effect of support composition on the structural and catalytic properties of Ru/AlOOH–SiO2 catalysts for benzene selective hydrogenation
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of support acidity on the performance of benzene selective hydrogenation to cyclohexene was investigated on Ru catalysts supported on AlOOH-SiO2 composites with varying Al/Si ratios.
