Fermented Platycodon grandiflorum Extract Inhibits Lipid Accumulation in 3T3-L1 Adipocytes and High-Fat Diet-Induced Obese Mice
TL;DR: This article investigated the effect of fermented Platycodon grandiflorum (FPG) on anti-adipogenic activity via regulation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARγ) and CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein alpha (C/EBPα).

Sanguisorba officinalis L. Extracts Exert Antiobesity Effects in 3T3-L1 Adipocytes and C57BL/6J Mice Fed High-Fat Diets.
TL;DR: It is suggested that the SOL 50% EtOH extract may have an antiobesity effect through the regulation of transcription factors related to adipogenesis, lipogenesis, and lipolysis.

Anti-Diabetic Effect of Aster sphathulifolius in C57BL/KsJ-db/db Mice.
Xing-fu Yin,Yu-Hua Huang,Da-Woon Jung,Hee Chul Chung,Se-Young Choung,Jae-Hoon Shim,Il-Jun Kang +6 more
TL;DR: Anti-diabetic effect of Aster sphathulifolius extract in C57BL/KsJ-db/db mice was investigated and dose dependently increased both insulin receptor substrate 1 and glucose transporter type 4 expression in skeletal muscle, significantly increased glucokinase expression, and decreased glucose 6-phosphatase and phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase expressions in the liver.
