TL;DR: Multiple linear regression models found that for psychical health depression and cardiac anxiety, avoidance activities had an influence on levels of quality of life in hypertensive patients, after controlling for age and other socio-demographic variables and clinical characteristics.

TL;DR: Left ventricular diastolic dysfunction is an important prognostic factor in patients with advanced CKD on long-term dialysis, without known CAD, and the novel echocardiographic parameters such as LA strain could add valuable information to the overall cardiac evaluation of this specific population.
