Synthesis and spectroscopic studies of iron (III) complex with a quinolone family member (pipemidic acid)
D. Skrzypek,B. Szymanska,Dimitra Kovala-Demertzi,Joanna Wiecek,E. Talik,Mavroudis A. Demertzis +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a six coordinate dimer distorted octahedral configuration has been proposed for pipemidic acid, Hpipem, which exhibits O, O ligation through the carbonyl and carboxylato oxygen atoms.

Synthesis and spectroscopic study of copper(II) and manganese(II) complexes with pipemidic acid
Beata Szymańska,D. Skrzypek,Dimitra Kovala-Demertzi,Malgorzata Staninska,Mavroudis A. Demertzis +4 more
TL;DR: Seven new complexes have been characterised by elemental analyses, infrared, UV-vis and X-band EPR spectroscopy in the temperature range from 4 to 300 K and five coordinate square-pyramid configuration has been proposed for 1 and 2.

The characterization of cobalt(II) derivatives of selected substituted meso-tetraphenyl and tetrapyridyl porphyrins by EPR spectroscopic study
TL;DR: In this article, a connection between the crystal and/or an amorphous form of cobalt porphyrins with different substituents recorded by XRD and analyzed EPR spectrum was made.

Magnetic field effect on hemin
TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetic behavior of hemin has been investigated by means of magnetostatic methods, AC-susceptibility measurements and EPR spectroscopy, and it was shown that the iron ion in hemin exists in two spin states (S= 5 2 and 1 2 ).
