The effect of supports (Al2O3, Al2O3-CeO2 and Al2O3-CeZrO2) on the nature of gold-species in supported gold catalysts
Andrey Simakov,V. V. Kriventsov,Irina L. Simakova,Elena Smolentseva,F.F. Castillón,Miguel Estrada,Eunice Vargas,E. P. Yakimchuk,D. P. Ivanov,D. G. Aksenov,D. V. Andreev,B. N. Novgorodov,Dmitry I. Kochubey,Sergio Fuentes +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the study of Au specimens produced by gold deposition on nanosized mixed oxides (alumina, ceria, zirconia) prepared by the sol-gel method using organometallic precursors is concerned.

Study of the local structure of supported nanostructural platinum catalysts
I.E. Beck,I.E. Beck,V. V. Kriventsov,D. P. Ivanov,E. P. Yakimchuk,B. N. Novgorodov,Vladimir I. Zaikovskii,Vladimir I. Zaikovskii,Valery I. Bukhtiyarov,Valery I. Bukhtiyarov +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the possibility of controlling the state of platinum deposited on the support surface via minor changes in the catalyst preparation procedure is demonstrated using a series of highly dispersed Pt/γ-Al2O3 catalysts with different particle size of the active component.

XAFS study of a Au/Al2O3 catalytic nanosystem doped by Ce and Ce–Zr oxides
V. V. Kriventsov,Irina L. Simakova,Andrey Simakov,Elena Smolentseva,F.F. Castillón,Miguel Estrada,Eunice Vargas,E. P. Yakimchuk,D. P. Ivanov,D. G. Aksenov,D. V. Andreev,B. N. Novgorodov,Dmitry I. Kochubey,Sergio Fuentes +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, a structural analysis of the XANES (Au-L3) spectra has revealed mainly Au3+ cations located on the oxide matrix surface in distorted octahedral coordination for the catalysts reduced at 150°C.
