Acceptor Family Planning (KB) is Couple Age Fertile (EFA) who use wrong one tools / drugs contraception . Although the family planning program has been declared quite successful in Indonesia, in its implementation so far there are still obstacles that are felt, among others, that there are still many couples of childbearing age (PUS) who are still not participants in family planning. Population in study this is couple age fertile who are not use tool contraception in Village Sigulang District Southeast Padangsidimpuan Year 2022 as many 25 PUS. It is hoped that health workers will held  more counselling  enterprising again so motivating respondents who have knowledgeable good for want to use tool contraception.

Factors Affecting Couples of Reproductive Age (CRA) Without Using Contraception

Salah satu pekerjaan yang memilki potensi risiko ergonomi terhadap keluhan subjektif WMSDs, yakni sektor usaha menjahit informal, termasuk penjahit di Kota Tanjungpinang, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui studi risiko ergonomi dan keluhan subjektif WMSDs penjahit di Kota Tanjungpinang. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif semi kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional menggunakan Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) untuk postur kerja dan Nordic Body Map (NBM) untuk keluhan MSDs. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan karakteristik 22 penjahit didominasi oleh usia produktif (100%), berjenis kelamin pria (68,2%), berpendidikan SMA (50%), dengan masa kerja &gt; 5 tahun (68,2%), memiliki Indeks Massa Tubuh normal (72,7%), tidak merokok (63,6%), dan tidak berolahraga (68,3%). Hasil pengukuran risiko ergonomi postur tubuh penjahit mayoritas memiliki risiko sedang (26%), dengan dominasi posisi bekerja duduk membungkuk (86,4%), durasi kerja ≤ 8 jam sehari (68,4%), waktu istirahat ≤ 1 jam sehari (86,4%), dan lama lembur &gt; 2 jam (54,5%). Hasil pengukuran NBM menunjukkan mayoritas keluhan MSDs sedang (65%) dengan mayoritas keluhan punggung, pinggang, betis, dan leher. Upaya yang dapat direkomendasikan untuk mencegah dan mengurangi keluhan MSDs pada penjahit yaitu memberi jedah istirahat 10-15 menit dengan melakukan peregangan dan meredesain kursi penjahit yang memiliki sandaran punggung, kepala, dan injakan kaki.

Studi Risiko Ergonomi dan Keluhan Subjektif Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WMSDs) pada Penjahit di Kota Tanjungpinang

Aktivitas menjahit yang melibatkan postur tubuh yang statis, gerakan tangan berulang, dan penggunaan peralatan yang tidak ergonomis meningkatkan risiko MSDs seperti nyeri otot dan sendi. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi gambaran risiko ergonomi, karakteristik penjahit, dan keluhan MSDs di Tanjungpinang Kota. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan instrumen Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) untuk menilai risiko ergonomi, Nordic Body Map (NBM) untuk keluhan MSDs, dan kuesioner untuk karakteristik penjahit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hanya 3,33% penjahit memiliki postur kerja yang masih dapat diterima, sedangkan 56,67% berada dalam kategori yang memerlukan investigasi lebih lanjut dan 40% memerlukan perubahan segera. Dari 30 penjahit yang diteliti, 2 orang (6,67%) tidak mengalami keluhan MSDs, 10 orang (33,33%) mengalami keluhan ringan, 14 orang (46,67%) mengalami keluhan sedang, dan 4 orang (13,33%) mengalami keluhan berat. Karakteristik seperti posisi duduk membungkuk (60%), durasi kerja &gt; 8 jam sehari (56,67%), dan waktu istirahat ≤ 1 jam sehari (96,67%) berkontribusi pada tingginya risiko MSDs. Penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya perbaikan ergonomis di tempat kerja serta intervensi yang lebih baik untuk mengurangi risiko MSDs dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan penjahit. Upaya yang dapat direkomendasikan untuk mengurangi keluhan MSDs pada penjahit yaitu memberi jedah istirahat 10-15 menit dengan melakukan peregangan.

Background: Globalization is a double-edged sword since it improves human efficiency and effectiveness along with the development of technology. However, the negative impacts of globalization hit developing countries hard, such as the fading of traditional culture and people's tendency to be dependent on  developed countries, or people imitate the negative behavior of those living in developed countries. Aims: This paper conceptualizes premarital sex behavior, which is a problem in the social environment that occurs in Indonesian society and generally in Islamic countries. The author will reveal sexual problems experienced by adolescents in terms of social phenomena in modern times. In addition, the impact of adolescent sexual behavior before marriage will also be discussed in this article, both in social, cultural, and religious settings. The author also offers alternative solutions to prevent premarital sex behavior in adolescents by looking at the role of the family, social environment, and educational institutions. Method: We use the Theory of Planned Behavior and Social Learning Theory approaches to explore the direction of adolescent behavior in making decisions. Results: As a result, our model can contribute to future research to research adolescent premarital sex behavior, especially in countries affected by globalization. In addition, we also offer a research model by formulating several propositions that will be a guide for further research. Conclusion: Globalization is very influential and we feel it in everyday life. Conditions such as promiscuity, negative internet, premarital sex, etc. can be found in social life. This condition cannot be avoided, which is something that should happen and needs to be addressed wisely by the whole community, especially parents who have teenage children. Several alternatives are offered to overcome this problem, among others, through educational institutions, the role of the family, and the social environment. These three factors are an alternative to preventing adolescent associations that lead to premarital sex.

A Theoretical Review: Globalization and Preventing Premarital Sex

Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa and projected to be the 3rd in the World by 2050. Despite measures to control the country’s population over the years, the total fertility rate has remained high. Fertility rate is associated with various factors but there is limited evidence on the role of early marriage as a predictor or barrier to fertility outcome. This study determined the association between early marriage and fertility outcome in Nigeria. This study is based on secondary data analysis of the 2018 Nigeria Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS). It is a descriptive cross-sectional study with sample that comprised of married women aged 20-24 years old. Data was analyzed using SPSS version 20. The multivariate regression analysis revealed higher likely of women in early marriage to have childbirth in the first year of marriage (OR=2.26, 95%CI=1.96-2.61); and number of children ever born (OR=4.24, 95% CI=3.40-5.27) but lower odd of repeated childbirth in less than twenty-four months (OR=0.66, 95%CI=0.52-0.83) and ever use of contraceptive (OR=0.52, 95%CI=0.45-0.61). However, the adjusted odd ratio only showed significant association between early marriage and number of children ever born (AOR=10.28, 95%CI=2.57-41.13). The nuanced analysis indicates that marriage at any age below 18 had higher effect on fertility than marriage at 18 and above. Early marriage predisposes married women to higher fertility and women with lower age of marriage have likelihood of higher fertility. Improving access of girls to education and contraceptives will delay the timing of pregnancy and childbirth. Keywords: Child marriage, Childbirth, Contraceptive, Early marriage, Fertility, Nigeria.

Impacts of Early Marriage on Fertility Outcomes in Nigeria

Adolescents were susceptible to problems and negativity during the pandemic times. There was an increase in adolescents’ consumption of unhealthy foods by 36%, an increase in body weight by 48%, and a decrease in physical activity and exercise by 43% globally. To function optimally in this situation, adolescents needed to do healthy lifestyle behaviour. Adolescents tended to do this when they could love themselves, which was carried out by applying self-compassion and participating in activities that benefit health. This study was conducted in 2021 and aimed to determine the relationship between self-compassion and adolescent participation in healthy lifestyle behaviour. This study used a cross-sectional design. The population was adolescents in Kediri, aged 15-19. The sample was obtained by cluster sampling, totaling 111 respondents. Independent variables were self-compassion and adolescent participation. The dependent variable was healthy lifestyle behaviour. Data were collected by questionnaires and analyzed by regression. Results showed that variables related to healthy lifestyle behaviour were self-compassion and adolescent participation (p0.001). There was a significant relationship between self-compassion (p=0.02) and participation (p0.001) with healthy lifestyle behaviour. Self-compassion and participation were predictors of healthy lifestyle behaviour, simultaneously and individually. Based on the results, adolescents needed to increase their understanding and practice of self-love in performing healthy lifestyle behaviour.

Reproductive health can be achieved in several ways, including the practice of family planning through modern contraception used by married couples. Modern contraception brings positive impact for ensuring couples and families’ overall health and wellbeing. However, prevalence of modern contraception use among couples is still low, including in Indonesia. This study aimed to determine factors that predicted the modern contraception use of reproductive age married couples in Indonesia.Method: This study was quantitative study with cross-sectional approach. Data used in this study was secondary data from the 2021 Family Data Collection. Sampling technique was saturated sampling on reproductive age couples in 34 Provinces in Indonesia. Dependent variable was modern contraception use. Independent variables were women's ideal marriage age, women's early marriage age, and ideal number of children preferences. Data analysis used multiple linear regression test. Results: Results showed that variables that were significantly related to modern contraception use were women's ideal marriage age, women's early marriage age, and ideal number of children preferences (p<0.001). There was significant relationship between each variable women's ideal marriage age (p<0.001), women's early marriage age (p<0.001), and ideal number of children preferences (p<0.001) with modern contraception use. women's ideal marriage age, women's early marriage age, and ideal number of children preferences were predictors of modern contraception use among reproductive age married couples in Indonesia, both simultaneously and individually. Based on study results, reproductive age couples need to consider their age of marriage and gain good information and understanding about children preferences. It is hoped that it would increase their participation of modern contraception use.

What Predict Modern Contraception Use? A Study of Reproductive Age Married Couples in Indonesia

Background: Amidst the disruptive era that is full of changes and challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, psychological strength is needed by adolescents to be able to focus on positivity and maintain optimal health functions. Adolescents are one of the high-risk groups in this world’s recent situation. Therefore, adolescents need to stay safe and healthy to survive their future, one of which is by doing healthy lifestyle behavior. In this context, resilience, self-compassion, and hope need to be considered by adolescents in order to successfully perform healthy lifestyle behavior. Objective: The research objective was to analyze the relationship between resilience, self-compassion, and hope with healthy lifestyle behavior in adolescents. Methods:  This research was a descriptive-analytic study with a cross-sectional design. The population was adolescents in Kediri; East Java aged 15-19 years old. The sample was collected by cluster random sampling. The total sample of this research was 342 respondents. The independent variable was resilience, self-compassion, and hope. The dependent variable was healthy lifestyle behavior. Data were collected by offline questionnaires filled by the respondent and analyzed using regression. Results: Based on regression analysis, variables that simultaneously and significantly related to healthy lifestyle behavior were resilience, self-compassion, and hope (p<0.001). There was a significant relationship between each variable of resilience (p=0.001), self-compassion (p=0.002), and hope (p<0.001) with healthy lifestyle behavior. Conclusion: Resilience, self-compassion, and hope, both simultaneously and individually were predictors of healthy lifestyle behavior. According to the research result, adolescents need to raise awareness and practice their psychological strengths to maintain their healthy lifestyle behavior in daily life.

The world situation with full of demands and limitations during the current pandemic can bring negative impacts on family. Family face burdens of daily needs for family life’s. Regarding to this condition, the ideal family size which is couple who has no more than two children, is an entity that needs to be considered to ensure the survivability of family. This study aimed to determine factors that related and predict the ideal family size for reproductive age couples in East Java. This study was quantitative study with cross-sectional approach. Data used in this study was secondary data from the Family Data Collection in 2021. Sampling technique was saturation sampling on reproductive age couples in 38 cities and regencies of East Java. Dependent variable was ideal family size. Independent variable was ideal age of marriage, participation in modern contraception, preferences for the ideal number of children, exposure to electronic media information, exposure to social media information, exposure to printed media information, and exposure to mass media information. Data analysis used multiple linear regression test. The study result stated variables that were related and had contribution in predicting ideal family size in reproductive age couples were ideal marriage age (p=0.001), participation in modern contraception (p=0.001), preference for ideal number of children (p=0.001), exposure to electronic media information (p=0.018), and exposure to mass media information (p=0.009). Based on these results, it is hoped that several intervention programs can be arranged by related institutions, targeted in the field that are in accordance with the study results.
