TL;DR: During the course of their infection, HIV-positive patients tended to decrease their carriage of microorganisms, by populations on the skin and by fewer species on all sites, especially the groin, and the sequelae of HIV-infection seems to include hazardous alterations of the epithelial habitats of micro organisms.
